Scythe is a massively popular and highly-rated engine-building game, set in an alternate-history during the 1920s. The game was first manufactured following a successful Kickstarter campaign in 2016 and its popularity has not slowed down since.
In the original Scythe board game, every player represents a character in one of five factions, each with different resources, starting locations and hidden goals. Through making game decisions, players aim to claim land and earn fortunes by enlisting recruits and taking resources. The engaging mechanics make hours of play fly by!
Scythe Expansions
A Scythe expansion is used in conjunction with the base game to broaden your experience. Although the Scythe game is fun to play on its own, expansions add further characters, modules and campaigns.
Expansions include:
- Invaders from Afar - perfectly merges with the original game and offers two new factions to play with.
- The Wind Gambit - adds further modules, such as airships, with new characters and can be played up to 7 players.
- The Rise of Fenris - provides you with a campaign and modular mode.
Scythe Encounters - 32 new encounters cards made for the fans, by the fans.
