BrainBox Maths wins in 2020 Creative Play Awards

BrainBox Maths, the 10-minute brain challenge in which players use fun memory tests to learn useful maths concepts, has emerged triumphant in the 2020 Creative Play Awards.

Run by Creative Steps magazine, the awards hail products which encourage and support children's creative development.

BrainBox Maths won first prize in the Toys and Games - Indoor (8-11 years) category, reflecting its suitability for students at Key Stage 2 level in England and Wales. The game's questions were developed by a primary-school teacher with 30 years' teaching experience.

Players study a card for 10 seconds and then answer a question about what they saw based on the roll of a die. Answer correctly to keep the card, and the person with the most cards after five or 10 minutes is the winner.

The entire BrainBox range is made from a minimum of 70 per cent recycled material, making it a good example for youngsters on a number of levels.
