Asmodee marks success of first ever Asmofair with October follow-up event

Asmodee has hailed the success of its inaugural AsmoFair –the first-ever fully virtual trade show created in partnership with Coiledspring Games to bridge the gap between supplier and buyer while in-person events are off the table due to Covid-19.

Running over 2nd-5thSeptember, AsmoFair offered buyers the chance to book a remote tour of Asmodee’s showroom, with members of the company’s sales team introducing some of its can’t-miss products.

Both delighted by the uptake of the event and eager to put intoaction many valuable lessons learned from the experience, Asmodee is moving quicklyalongside Coiledspring Gamesto offer a second run of the pioneering show. AsmoFair Part II will run from Sunday 4thto Wednesday 7thOctober, making it a fantastic opportunity for those who were unable to attend the first event to discover Asmodee’s range of best-in-class board games –including a look at what’s next for the Dobble and Pokémon Trading Card Game ranges.

“With well-structured meetings, previews of new and different products, as well as the opportunity to provide feedback, AsmoFair was a fantastic virtual alternative to a physical show with the same great and exclusive offers for customers. All in all, I found AsmoFair to be a seamless experience and a great way for our store to prepare for Q4 and Christmas,” said Toy Barnhaus.

Eclectic Gamesadded: “With the pandemic affecting all the usual trade fairs where we would normally catch up it was helpful and productive to have an alternative means to get some face-to-face time with Asmodee staff.”

To attend AsmoFair Part II and make use of the next-best thing to an in-person trade show, buyers can head to www.asmofair.co.uk and book a 25-minute meeting slot at a time thatsuits them.

Asmodee is looking forward to continuing to innovate as it adapts to the changing needs and possibilities of the industry in the coming months.
