We are celebrating after a whole host of titles available from Asmodee UK were recognised in the 2019 Imagination Gaming Awards!
Now in their seventh year, the Imagination Gaming Awards champion games which are not only incredible fun but also help to develop key life skills in young players. All of the products highlighted are used by Imagination Gaming in their mission to use tabletop games as educational tools, working with schools and communities.
At this year’s awards, no fewer than three Asmodee-supplied titles were shortlisted for Best Family Game. This honour went to Shadows: Amsterdam, Libellud’s race to solve a crime in teams using picture clues, Who Did It?, the memory-based member of the Fun Fast Games range, and dice-flicking dexterity game Kung Fu Zoo.
In the category of Best Literacy Game, Spiel des Jahres-nominated Just One was shortlisted by the panel of judges, along with WizKids’ Letter Go, a party game of fast-paced word-building and ever-changing rules.
Layers, a new release from Ludicorn in which players race to arrange cutout cards in just the right order to recreate specific patterns, also drew attention with a shortlisting in the Problem-Solving Game category.
Meanwhile, several other games were rewarded with the Imagination Gaming Seal of Approval, which declares a game worthy of use in the organisation’s educational work. The Seal guarantees a great purchase for any family looking to have fun while developing skills.
Among the recipients of the Seal of Approval are Maki Stack, Cobra Paw, Werewolves of Miller’s Hollow, SET, Untold: Adventures Await, Fungeon Party, Curio: The Lost Temple and Endless Pass: A Viking Saga.
We’re delighted to see all of these games receive the recognition that they deserve! You can find out more information about the Imagination Gaming Awards here.
