Do you want to be part of a fast-growing Sales Team within a successful distribution business?  

Are you keen to play a pivotal role in coordinating the distribution of Organised Play materials to retailers as well as being a vital point of contact for internal departments, particularly between Purchasing, Sales and Operations?

We have a fantastic opportunity for a Sales Operations & OP Assistant to join our growing business in Alton, Hampshire.  This is a unique role for someone looking to develop their experience of Organised Play within a thriving company that sells a variety of board games to a diverse customer base. This role will be fundamental in assisting customers to create a space to play the games we sell.

What does this role involve?

  • Co-ordinate stock allocation utilising pre-order and back-order data and acting as the liaison point between purchasing and sales.
  • Accurate communications to customer
  • Liaising with key suppliers and licence holders to ensure OP activities meet their brand guidelines
  • Fulfilment of event material to deadline
  • Ownership of the events calendar
  • Ensuring event and customer data is recorded accurately
  • Labelling and packing OP items when required
  • Collaborating with Purchasing, Sales, Suppliers and Retailers to ensure OP activities are executed correctly and on time
  • Coordinate with suppliers for their requirements and establish best practice
  • Work with our purchasing team to manage stock requirements
  • Any other support required by the sales team
  • Support the Sales Team

What are we looking for?

We are looking for someone who has previous experience or knowledge of Organised Play or other competitive rule systems who is keen to develop a career around the development and growth of gaming with our customers.

The ideal candidate will be flexible and have experience working in agile environments, with the ability to work with a degree of autonomy. You will be calm and focused under pressure, being highly organised and have excellent attention to detail as well as a strong knowledge of the whole Microsoft suite including Excel.

 The role would suit someone who is able to thrive in a fast-paced work environment, managing multiple priorities, and who is comfortable working across different teams and departments.
