We have a fantastic opportunity for a driven individual to join our growing business in Bordon, Hampshire. Supporting the Warehouse Manager and working closely with a team of Assistant Warehouse Managers, the individual will work in a varied role, taking responsibility for a team of Operatives and Supervisors in our busy warehouse. You will take on exciting challenges and juggle a range of tasks and responsibilities.

This is an excellent role for someone looking to grow their career within warehouse management; building on existing business knowledge and skills.

What does this role involve?
You will be:

• Responsible for managing a team of supervisors and operatives; ensuring that the team is properly structured, resourced, trained and motivated.
• Taking responsibility for health & safety compliance and enforcing safety regulations
• Creating Standard Operating Procedures to ensure processes are followed consistently
• Handling people-management tasks such as probations reviews, appraisals and incident reporting
• Monitoring, reporting and using KPIs

What are we looking for?
We are looking for an individual with a good knowledge of warehouse procedures, along with a strong awareness of health & safety compliance. The ideal candidate will have people management experience, including experience with managing workloads and shift planning. The role would suit someone with a can-do attitude, who thrives in a busy, fast-paced environment.
